The RadioDJ playout system most typically uses the standard .m3u playlist file that Music 1 produces; a single full-day’s schedule in one file. RadioDJ loads and launches it at midnight and the tracks M1 has scheduled play through the day. Some webcasters, however, want to adhere closer to ‘clock’ time, launching the next hour’s playlist at the very top of each hour. To do this, M1 will deliver the daily schedules in 24 one-hour playlists. Then, some additional settings must be entered into RadioDJ.
