Automation & Playout Interface

Music 1 works with them all digital automation/playout systems.

WideOrbit/SS32, WaveStation/Simian, Mediatron, Prophet, Phantom, anything from Broadcast Electronics, Dalet, Maestro, Netia, AudioWizard, Enco, DCS Digilink, Dinesys, Dinesat, SmartCaster, OtsA/V, SAM Broadcaster, StationPlaylistStudio, DRS2006, WinAmp, Windows Media Player…and many more are all built in. Open the Music 1 system parameters window, click the Automation selection button and click-in the name of your system. Then, Music 1 will automatically export a custom-fitted log file designed specifically for the system.

There are new systems coming on the market all the time. Whenever we encounter a new one, we custom-build an interface for it. We do it at no additional charge for the Music 1 user.

Music 1 also can read and import commercial/advertising schedules. It can import your traffic, merge it with the music then send one completely merged file to your automation system. So, if you are looking at a new automation system and they want to charge you an extra thousand bucks for their ‘merger’ software, tell them you don’t need it.

Additionally, Music 1 has the capability to generate and schedule all the system commands and macros that are required by digital systems. Automation systems need special commands that tell them when to update clocks, when to begin recording a feed from the network, when to fade a song at the end of the hour in order to hit a timing mark. Such commands are normally entered into the formatting templates in the digital unit’s software. Music 1 will synchronize perfectly with those templates that you may now be using. BUT, if you want to eliminate one more link in the chain, you can now enter and schedule all those things with the music scheduler. Music 1 is really a TOTAL programming and formatting tool.
