Some stations get a lot of duplicate tracks in MusicONE when they do a mass-import of a lot of song meta-data. This usually happens when the station is converting from one Automation system to another and the previous system had the duplicates. Here’s how to quickly remove the dupes.

If you have jingles of different tempos, you have have Music 1 Pro put only Fast jingles before Fast songs and Slow Jingles before Slow ones.

Online Radio Box has now added something new, a “quotes” pop-up feature. If something by The Police is playing, there’ll be a quote from Sting. The screenshot below is the first time I saw it. Artists

The reasons for shuffling are two-fold.  First, songs by the same artists should be spread evenly through the category to prevent them from scheduling consistently close together. Second, we want to avoid the “predictability” of groups of song titles always being scheduled close together.

If you go to delete a clock and M1 says it’s can’t because the clock is on a Dayformat, it will also tell you which Dayformat(s)  have the clock.  Here’s what to do:
